Obedience Is Still Your Strategy

ree

Let me say this plain.

Obedience is still your strategy even when the timing doesn’t make sense. Even when the numbers don’t line up. Even when the people around you don’t understand what you’re building.

Because here’s the truth I’ve had to live: There will be seasons where you can’t strategize your way forward. The only move that will make sense in the Spirit is the one that looks foolish on paper.

And if you’re going to walk in purpose, you’ve got to make peace with that.

When God Told Me to Move Without a Map

I’ve built businesses. I’ve helped others build theirs. I’ve created launch plans, workflows, automations, and systems that make things run smoothly. So when God asked me to launch something before I felt “ready,” my instinct was to pause and make a better plan.

But I could feel it deep in my spirit. This wasn’t about being ready. It was about being willing. God wasn’t asking for perfection. He was asking for obedience.

So I said yes. Not because everything was lined up, but because I trusted the One who was leading me.

Every breakthrough, every divine connection, every closed door that protected me, every open door that accelerated me… It came after obedience. Not before. Not during the planning stage. After.

Stop Overthinking What God Already Confirmed

Some of you are in a holding pattern not because God hasn’t spoken, but because you’re waiting for ten more confirmations after the one He already gave you.

You’re not unclear. You’re just scared.

And that fear is disguising itself as “wisdom.” As “stewardship.” As “being cautious.” But deep down, you know He already told you what to do.

Delayed obedience is still disobedience. And fear disguised as “strategy” will always lead you to play small.

Obedience is risky. But so is staying stuck.

What Obedience Actually Looks Like

Let’s clear this up: Obedience doesn’t always look like launching something big. Sometimes it’s sending the email. Posting the video. Saying no to the opportunity that looks good but isn’t God. Sitting still when your impulse says, “Go make something happen.”

Obedience is a muscle. And if you don’t use it, you’ll default to hustle.

So what’s one thing God told you to do that you’ve been putting off? Not because it’s unclear, but because it’s uncomfortable? Start there. Don’t build a strategy to avoid it. Just obey.

A Word for the Woman Who’s Tired of Waiting

If you’ve been faithful, if you’ve been sowing, if you’ve been showing up even when it’s been quiet. Hear me:

God sees you. He honors your obedience. And He will use your yes in ways you haven’t even imagined.

You don’t have to manipulate the outcome. You don’t have to be seen to be effective. You don’t need everyone to clap for it to count.

You just need to trust that the same God who gave you the instruction will also give you the grace, the provision, and the strength to carry it out.

So yes, use strategy. Use wisdom. But never use strategy as a substitute for obedience. Because obedience is still the most powerful strategy you’ve got.
