Hard Isn’t a Sign to Quit, It’s a Call to Choose Again

ree

I was driving the other day with my usual to‑do list running through my head when a DJ on KLOVE said something that stopped me mid‑thought:

“Being out of shape is hard. Working out is hard. Choose your hard.”

That phrase hit me right in the chest, not because I hadn’t heard it before, but because in that moment it reminded me that everything worth having costs something: time, energy, faith, and commitment. But if you’re going to push through something hard, make sure it’s the kind of hard that leads to purpose, not just pain.

These past few years have not been easy, not for you, not for me. But even on the days when I feel like I’m pouring from an empty cup, I keep showing up, because I know I’m called to help others walk out their God‑given assignment.

I don’t share this from a place of “I’ve mastered it,” I share it from a place of “I’m walking it out, too.” I know what it feels like to question the timing, to wrestle with uncertainty, and to wonder if now is really the right time to launch something new, especially when everything around us feels unstable.

But I also know this:

  • Living with regret is hard.  Pursuing purpose with faith is hard. Choose purpose.

  • Being financially stuck is hard.  Being disciplined and building something new is hard.  Choose to build.

  • Staying in survival mode is hard.  Shifting into vision, strategy, and legacy is hard. Choose the shift.

  • Being laid off is hard.  Starting your business while job hunting is hard. Choose to build anyway.

  • Living paycheck to paycheck is hard.  Learning how to package and price your God-given skills is hard. Choose to launch anyway.

  • Hiding your gifts is hard. Putting your work out there is hard. Choose to shine anyway.

  • Feeling overlooked is hard. Staying consistent while no one claps is hard. Choose to show up anyway.

God never said the calling would be easy, but He did say He would be with us, and that’s the part I cling to, even on my hardest days.

You may need a website, you may need a strategy, but above all, you need the courage to keep choosing the hard that leads to freedom, because your obedience now could become someone else’s breakthrough later.

And that’s why I’m still here, helping women like you build what God gave you, even when it’s hard.

If you’re ready to take the next step, I’d be honored to walk with you:

Let’s make sure you’re building the right thing, the right way, in the right season. You don’t have to do it alone, and you don’t have to wait for things to get easier.

Just choose the hard that’s worth it.
